Longest Day Parkway 2026

Longest Day Parkway is the City of Sandy’s annual Ride, Bike, Roll & Stroll community event—a fun, family-friendly way to get outside and explore your local parks and neighborhoods.

Participants are invited to walk, ride, or roll along a designated route that connects through one of Sandy’s park areas. Along the way, each City department will host interactive booths featuring activities, information, and fun giveaways for all ages.

To ensure a safe and welcoming environment, streets along the route will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic, allowing families to comfortably enjoy the experience together.

This year’s event will conclude at Deer Point Park, Sandy’s newest park, where participants can relax and enjoy a complimentary hot dog and a cold treat while connecting with friends, neighbors, and the community.
