Join us for Sandy's Merry Make-over Challenge (Businesses only)

This year, we’re turning up the twinkle and inviting all Sandy businesses with a brick-and-mortar location to join the fun. Whether you’re downtown or beyond, there’s a spot for you! During the Stocking Stroll, businesses outside the downtown corridor can participate at Centennial Plaza or Meinig Park, where a limited number of festive display spaces will be available.

The Merry Makeover Challenge and Sandy Stocking Stroll are beloved Winterfest traditions that light up our town and bring the community together. Your creativity and holiday spirit help make Sandy shine bright all season long!

Become a winterfest Decorations Sponsor

Your financial contribution helps the City of Sandy provide this popular event. To register as a decorations sponsor fill out the Sponsor Application (downloadable at the bottom of this web-page) and return to the Sandy Community and Senior Center. Please mark the paperwork with "Attn: Carol Cohen" and make checks payable to "City of Sandy".

Become a winterfest Vendor

We are accepting applications (downloadable at the bottom of this web-page) for businesses to become a vendor in Meinig Park on select Winterfest Nights! The Winterfest Jolly Trolley runs on December 6th, 13th, 21st, and 22nd and we aim to have a festive holiday market in the park on those evenings!

Become a Winterfest Cocoa Sponsor

From Nov 22nd - Jan 2nd you have the opportunity to hand out free hot cocoa to anyone enjoying the lights in Meinig Park. This is your opportunity to meet people, get your business/organization name out there, and share chocolately holiday magic! To register as a Cocoa Sponsor fill out the Sponsor Application (downloadable at the bottom of this web-page) and return to the Sandy Community and Senior Center.

Unavailable Dates Include: Dec 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd

Volunteer Opportunities for Winterfest 2025

• Characters in the Park – Bring holiday magic to life alongside Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch & more!
• Event Volunteers – Help make all our community events sparkle from start to finish.
• Light & Decoration Crew (starts Oct. 20) – Help us turn Meinig Park into a winter wonderland!
• Storybook Lane Host – Keep this beloved, nostalgic attraction safe and festive for all.
