Summer Concert 2026

Attention-Important Update

The City of Sandy’s upcoming concert, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 6th, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 16th at the same time (6:00pm-8:00pm).

This change is being made in response to the tragic events that occurred on May 31st. Meinig Park has been requested for use this week as a place for our community to come together to honor and remember those who were lost and those who were injured. As a City, we feel it is important to reserve this space for reflection, support, and healing during this time.

Longest Day Parkway 2026

Longest Day Parkway is the City of Sandy’s annual Ride, Bike, Roll & Stroll community event—a fun, family-friendly way to get outside and explore your local parks and neighborhoods.

Participants are invited to walk, ride, or roll along a designated route that connects through one of Sandy’s park areas. Along the way, each City department will host interactive booths featuring activities, information, and fun giveaways for all ages.

Seedling Plant Swap

Join us for our first Seedling Swap!

Bring your extra plant starts to share with the community! This event is much like our annual seed swap, only this time we’re swapping the plants that came from those seeds. Bring what you can and take what you need.

Due to space limitations, we are only looking for seedlings that were started indoors or in a greenhouse, and not perennial plant divisions from the garden.
