Do you have a child that wants to improve their reading skills? Come join the Hoodland Library for Books with Booker. Kids can sign up for 15-minute sessions with a licensed therapy dog. Books with Booker can help improve your child's reading skills, enthusiasm for reading, and interaction with pets. All dog handlers will be present during the duration of this activity.

Drop your favorite cuddly off at the library Friday evening between 5 and 6. Your stuffed animal will stay overnight for a sleepover at the library. Come back to the library the next morning to pick up your stuffy friend and enjoy a special Teddy Bear-themed storytime, along with pictures of their adventures! Please do not bring stuffed animals larger than 24 inches.
