Community Center Building Rentals

The Community and Senior Center is accepting rentals! 

 

The Community Center is available for meetings, birthday parties, celebrations, small groups, and other events.

The Community Center has the following spaces available for use: Dining Room, Auditorium and Art Room. 

Please note: the Community and Senior Center does not allow alcohol.

Events

Parks and Recreation offers a robust variety of events for all ages in the City of Sandy.  Some upcoming events include Longest Day Parkway, Noah's Quest 10K/5K run/walk, 4th of July Fireworks, and Sandy Mountain Festival Kids Events. Check out the full list below!

In addition, events are offered throughout the year for various special occasions, fundraising, and specific age groups.

Sandy Senior Center

 
The Community and Senior Center is our community gathering place for information, resources, recreational activities, senior group activities, and many other opportunities for social interaction. Various rooms within the center are available for rental for birthday parties, celebration of life, receptions, and group use.

Parks and Trails Advisory Board

The Parks and Trails Advisory Board advises the City Council, through the staff member in charge of supporting the Board, on the evaluation and development of parks, trails, and facilities to meet current and future needs of the City of Sandy and its service area.

City Council Liaison Assignments

Each biennium, the Mayor assigns Council Members as liaisons to advisory boards, commissions, and regional bodies. Council Members may also represent the Sandy City Council and the community as liaisons to other governing boards in the area.
