UPDATE: ODOT ADA Curb Ramp Improvements Project

The Oregon Department of Transportation is working to replace existing non-compliant ADA curb ramps at intersections on Hwy 26 in Sandy.

The schedule for the week of April 26th includes:

  • SW and SE corners of Royal Lane and US26 (Site 1)
  • SE corner of University and US26 (Site 3)
  • NW corner of Scales and Proctor (Site 8)
  • SE corner of Smith and Proctor (Site 14)
  • SE corner of Revenue and Pioneer (Site 18)

The work will require the contractor to temporarily close the bike lane and on-street parking adjacent to the work areas on Pioneer and Proctor as well as the associated side streets.  The sidewalks will also be closed at all of these locations and a temporary pedestrian pathway will be installed to facilitate pedestrian traffic through the work zone.

The contractor schedule for the week of May 3rd includes:

  • SE corner of Strauss and Proctor (Site 11)
  • SW corner of Shelley and Pioneer (Site 13)
  • SE corner of Mountain Festival Way (Hoffman) and Pioneer (Site 16)
  • NW corner of Revenue and Proctor (Site 17)
