Hoodland Library Closed

The Hoodland Library is closed today, 2/13, due to inclement weather.

Edible Gardening Group

Share the highs and lows of edible gardening with your neighbors as we swap tips, timelines, strategies and resources. This group is open to all - whether you are just starting out or gardening year 'round. Together we'll go from seed to maximizing the bounty of the harvest. 

The Edible Gardening Group is on break for the fall/winter and will return in Spring '26.

Dr. Seuss's Birthday

Oh the fun you will have at the library! Come and celebrate Dr, Seuss with a special family storytime on his birthday.  We’ll read one of Dr. Seuss’s beloved books and then dive into exciting, Seuss-inspired games and activities.

Request for Proposals for Sandy Area Metro (SAM) Operations

The City of Sandy Transit Department, known as Sandy Area Metro (SAM) is requesting proposals from a qualified firm that can demonstrate competency and experience in providing public transportation services.

The objective of requesting proposals is for the City to contract with a firm that can offer public transportation operation services, including but not limited to managerial staff, dispatch, drivers, maintenance coordinators and bus washers/utility workers.

Learn important skills for using your iPad or iPhone including navigating your device, connecting to Wi-Fi, common apps, and helpful settings. For this class, you will want to bring your own device and make sure you know your Apple ID and password. Space is limited. Registration required. Call the library at 503-668-5537 to register.
