Sandy Comprehensive Plan RFQ

The City of Sandy is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to assist on the City of Sandy Comprehensive Plan as detailed in the City’s Request for Qualifications (RFQ).

Sealed RFQ submissions must be received by Jeff Aprati, City Recorder, at 39250 Pioneer Blvd., Sandy, OR 97055, on or before 5:00 PM PST on August 6, 2021. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Comprehensive Plan Update RFQ.” Please provide one (1) digital copy (no email submittals) and five (5) hard copies of the proposal.

Clackamas County Small Business Grants

Clackamas County Small Business Grants

GRANT DEADLINE: Wednesday, June 23 at 5:00 PM

Clackamas County is offering another $600,000 in grants to businesses located in Clackamas County that have been adversely affected by economic conditions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

These grants, provided in partnership with Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon (MESO), will be for a maximum of $7,500.

In order to be eligible, a business must meet the following criteria:

Pool Exploratory Task Force

The Sandy Pool Exploratory Task Force study was a renewed planning effort in 2021 focused on assessing the City’s current and future aquatic program needs and envisioning the most cost effective and functional facility to meet those needs. Options were explored to address the physical and program deficiencies of the outdated Olin Y. Bignall Aquatic Center by either repairing and reopening the facility, or by pursuing one of the following options: 1) renovating the existing natatorium, 2) renovating the natatorium and constructing an addition, or 3) constructing a new aquatic facility.
