Cedar Park (Basecamp) Shelter

The Cedar Park (Basecamp) Shelter will be available to rent starting July 1, 2025.

The Shelter is available Monday-Friday and comes with 3 picnic tables and a trash can.  Two public restrooms are available for use located on the backside of the Shelter.

Block 1: 11:00am-2:00pm

Block 2: 2:30pm-5:30pm

The fee for the rental is $170. 

There is a resident discount for $150. 

There is a one time, non-refundable, administrative fee of $25 per reservation.

Sandy Summer Bike Classes

City of Sandy Parks and Recreation & Northwest Trails Alliance (NWTA) are offering Youth Bike Classes this Summer!

 
General Information:

Instructor-to-Participant Ratio:

2 certified instructors per session (5:1 ratio)

Maximum Participants per Session: 10

Participant Ages: 8-12

Location: Cedar Park, featuring Basecamp – Sandy, Oregon

Sandy Parks and Recreation is happy to continue their support of Mountain Festival by providing 3 free youth community events. 

Events

Pet Show:  Bring your favorite pet!  It can be a dog, cat, goat, rooster or even your favorite stuffy!

Bike Derby:  Navigate your way to different stations that will show off your biking skills!

2025 Summer Sounds and Starlight Cinema

The Summer Sounds and Starlight Cinema is Sandy's annual "Concerts and Movies in the Park" event.  All concerts and movies are free events that take place at Meinig Park.  Concerts will start at 6:00pm and end at 8:00pm.  Movies will start at "Dusk".  For all of our Concerts there will be food and drinks available for purchase.

August 13th-The Revival Brothers Band
