More than just a competition, The Drop In is a family-friendly weekend experience bringing together riders, skaters, families, and the broader community for an exciting celebration of sport, energy, and connection.
Bring the whole family to Sandy High School on Saturday, July 4th, for a spectacular fireworks show honoring the 250th year of our great country! The show is sponsored by Clackamas County Bank and the City of Sandy!
A portion of Bell Street will be closed prior to the fireworks display, and will remain closed for approximately 10 minutes after the display is concluded.

Deer Pointe Park is Sandy’s newest neighborhood park and a welcoming destination for recreation, relaxation, and community connection. Located in the Deer Pointe neighborhood, this beautiful 3.1-acre park features the city’s first covered full-court basketball shelter, providing year-round opportunities for play. Visitors can also enjoy an inclusive playground with soft, accessible ForeverLawn surfacing, paved walking paths, a picnic shelter, open green space, and landscaped areas designed for gathering and outdoor enjoyment.

For more than 30 years, the City of Sandy’s Senior Services program has delivered nutritious meals and meaningful connection to homebound seniors in Sandy, Boring, and Damascus. Each year, more than 11,000 meals are prepared and delivered — providing not only food, but wellness checks, social interaction, and peace of mind.
