Use recycled CDs to design your own spinning tops, then spin them to see how the patterns change in motion!

This kit will be available beginning March 15th, 2022.

Paycheck Protection Program Extended Until May 31st

As President Joe Biden signed the PPP Extension Act of 2021 into law today (March 30th), extending the Paycheck Protection Program an additional two months to May 31, 2021, and then providing an additional 30-day period for the SBA to process applications that are still pending, Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, said:

Past Due Process Reinstated

City of Sandy to Reinstate Past Due Processes, including late fees and shut offs. 

In March 2020, the City of Sandy suspended late fees and water service disconnections for non-payment of past due balances.  Since that time, late notices have been mailed monthly to past due accounts as a reminder of the current balance due. This suspension ends on April 1, 2021, and the normal billing process will resume for all customers.

After April 1, 2021, the past due process will resume as follows:

Competitive & Recovery Grants Program from Travel Oregon -- Application Period Now Open!

Travel Oregon has announced their Competitive & Recovery Grants Program. The grant program provides competitive funding for projects that work to enhance and expand the visitor experience over both the short and long-term, with an emphasis on outdoor, distanced, and COVID-19 safe experiences. Requests up to $100,000 will be accepted, depending on project type. See the list of eligible project types in the full guidelines. Projects must be completed by Nov. 30, 2021.
