Centennial Plaza Information

Centennial Plaza Panorama

Most great cities have a central public gathering area, and Sandy is no exception. The City leveraged urban renewal funding to construct a public plaza across the street from City Hall and right next door to the Historical Society Museum on Hoffman Ave. The amphitheater-style plaza features a large open area, seating, farmer's market vendor pads, landscaping, public restrooms and a water feature.  Centennial Plaza is home to the City of Sandy Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony every winter, and the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce's Music Fair and Feast (an open air weekend music festival) every summer.

Please Note: the City will resume a permitting system for Centennial Plaza events on July 1, 2021.  The usage agreement and fee schedule have been updated ($200/$300). For more information contact Chelsea Jarvis at: cjarvis@ci.sandy.or.us OR call (503)668-5569.
