Tickle Creek Park & Trail

The Tickle Creek Trail is approximately 1.8 miles of wooded, scenic trail in the heart of Sandy. It follows its namesake creek from the Barlow Ridge neighborhood (on Dubarko Road just west of Highway 211) downstream to the Tickle Creek neighborhood (just east of 362nd Avenue). It generally runs parallel to Dubarko Road (south of the road, except for a segment east of Reich Ct. extending east of Melissa Ave.). It includes five wooden bridges over Tickle Creek. Please see the map, below.

Sandy River Park

Sandy River Park offers a natural outdoor experience right in the heart of town.  The former Douglas fir forest was sold to the City in December 2001, and at 127 acres it is one of the largest publicly-owned parcels of land adjacent to the wild and scenic Sandy River.
