Adult Take and Make Kits - May

Beeswax Wraps

Each month the library will feature a different Take and Make Kit. 

Make 1-4 reusable fabric beeswax wraps to use as container covers or food wraps. We will provide the fabric, beeswax and parchment paper. Use your iron or oven (brush required) to melt beeswax pastilles onto 100% cotton fabric.

Pick up the kit beginning May 15th. Available while supplies last.

WORK HOURS:              0-19 - Schedule varies including, late afternoon, nights and weekends

DEPARTMENT:               Parks & Recreation

FLSA STATUS:                 Non-Exempt

SALARY GRADE:            A

SALARY RANGE:            $15.37 - 16.79 an hour  (more ranges for future growth)

REPRESENTATION:       None

 This position is open until filled.  Applications will be reviewed on a weekly basis.

Location: Mount Hood Farmer’s Market, 38600 Pioneer Blvd., Sandy.

Sandy Garden Club is hosting a plant sale from 8 am to 4 pm and Sandy Seed Library will be there with free seeds and an activity from 10 am to 12 pm.
