Kids Club - Sandy Library

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm for the Sandy Library Kid's Club!
 
This program takes place in the Hoyt Community Room in the Sandy Library.
 
 
Kids Club Schedule:

2nd Tuesday - Legos: Visit the library after school to make LEGO creations that will be displayed at the library! 

4th Tuesday - STEM Activity: Join us for an in-person STEM program each month! 

 

Sandy Library Writing Group

Do you enjoy writing? Are you looking to improve your current writing skills and be part of forming a supportive and enthusiastic writing community? 
 
Join us in our community room for the start of a new writing group led by Gary Dohrer.  Gary is a retired English professor with over 40 years of experience teaching writing and literature.
 
The writing group will meet every other Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm beginning March 22nd.

Request for Proposal for FTTx Design/Build for Underserved Homes/Businesses and Connection to Sewer Treatment Plant

SandyNet is a department of the City of Sandy that offers internet-related services to businesses and residents of Sandy as well as businesses and individuals outside of its civil township. SandyNet is an authorized Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) through the Oregon Public Utility Commission (PUC) and a public utility of the City of Sandy that is owned and operated by the people of Sandy. SandyNet primarily focuses on fiber-to-the-home/business.

May 2020

Given the unfortunate results of the public polling regarding the special district concept, the City Council has asked staff to develop options for the campus property and facilities that will realize cost savings and position the City to meet the Council's goals going forward.  The Council plans to revisit the issue and evaluate potential paths forward in the fall of 2020.

Request for Proposals -- Sandy Development Code Clear & Objective Audit

The City of Sandy is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to assist on the Sandy Development Code Clear & Objective Audit as outlined in the City’s Request for Proposals (RFP).

Sealed RFP submissions must be received by Shelley Denison, Associate Planner, at 39250 Pioneer Blvd., Sandy, OR 97055, on or before 2:00 PM PST on February 28, 2022. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Sandy Development Code Clear & Objective Audit RFP.”  Please provide five (5) hard copies of the proposal.  Late submissions will not be accepted.
