City Council Asks Governor to Ease COVID-19 Restrictions While Maintaining Safety

At their meeting on February 1, 2021, the City Council approved a letter to Governor Brown asking her to find innovative ways to ease COVID-19 restrictions to allow businesses to increase operations, and families to gather, in a safe manner.

Planning Commission Meeting

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Help your child establish strong early literacy skills by reading 1000 books to them.

To participate, download the Beanstack app for your mobile device or go to our Beanstack web page. Sign up and register your child for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge.

Read a book to your infant, toddler, or preschooler (you can read a book more than once!), then log your reading in Beanstack and earn badges along the way. You can also earn incentives as you go:

Men's Book Club

For the discerning gentleman who enjoys great literature, and for those who just like to hang out with the guys.

City Council Facilities Tour

The City Council will conduct a tour of the following facilities / locations, following appropriate COVID-19 protection measures.  The tour will begin at the first location at 9:00 a.m.

  1. Sandy Operations Center - 16610 Champion Way
  2. Wastewater Treatment Plant - 33400 SE Jarl Rd.
  3. Community Campus - 39055 Pleasant St.
  4. Roslyn Lake - 41515 SE Thomas Rd.
