Social Services Task Force

The Social Services Task Force was developed to address the complex issues of social services access for the wider Sandy community (including those who seek services within Sandy and reside in Boring, Rhododendron, Welches, Eagle Creek, and Estacada).  The Task Force membership is composed of community leaders, social service providers, and city staff representation.

The work of this group will take place through the end of 2022 and includes:

Operational Cost Assistance Grant Program

The Oregon Legislative Emergency Board on January 8, 2021, allocated $100 million to provide commercial rent relief assistance and operational costs assistance to small businesses and landlords adversely affected by economic conditions as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following two rounds of distribution of Commercial Rent Relief assistance grants, approximately $28 million ($8M of federal CARES Act and $20M of state General Funds) remains to be distributed through the Operational Cost Assistance Grant.

Operational Cost Assistance Grant Launches to Help Oregon Small Businesses Cover Costs

This Wednesday, May 26, Business Oregon will open the final portion of a program to provide grants for small businesses to help with commercial rent and operational costs in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

WASHINGTON – Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, today is announcing the latest application data results for the $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), passed as part of the American Rescue Plan, and signed into law by President Joe Biden. The RRF has received more than 147,000 applications from women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged business owners, requesting a total of $29 billion in relief funds.

Request for Proposals - Sandy Wastewater Program - Consulting Environmental and Engineering Services

The City of Sandy requests proposals from qualified environmental and engineering consultants for professional services required for the permitting of a new Sandy River Outfall through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (OR-DEQ) National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program and other related services.
