QuickBooks Online Software Master Course starts on 10/17

Follow up course to the Introductory course. Part 1 Working with Transactions - estimates, invoices, sales receipts, vendor bills, payments and vendor credits. Part 2 Reports, Bank Accounts and Reconciliations – financial, sales and customized reports, bank, credit card transactions and reconciliations. Introduction to QuickBooks Online required unless you have used the Online QuickBooks for two years.

 

Starting Your Facebook Business Page on 10/31

This workshop is for beginners only. If you do not have a page you will at least need to have a personal Facebook account. If you have a laptop it is encouraged that you bring it. Once you complete this workshop you will be able to start your first Facebook Business campaign.

Workshop Description:

  • Learn the difference between a Personal Page and a Business Page
  • Create a new page with a professional vanity URL
  • Learn all the features of a Facebook Page
  • Practice creating a post in class



QuickBooks Shutting you Down? on 10/31

Has your QuickBooks Desktop been discontinued? Join our Instructor & Adviser to discuss the changes with QB Enterprise Desktop, converting your QBD file to QuickBooks Online, a brief demonstration of the online forum, discussion of options beyond QB and plenty of time to answer your questions. This class is taught by Nekol Pyle, an accountant with 25 years of experience in small business accounting with QuickBooks Certification.

 

Smart Start: Small Business Development and Management starts on 11/2

This is a small business development and management course designed specifically for those considering self-employment or the newly self-employed. We will take you from an idea to development, concept to reality. We will discuss the steps, strengths, weaknesses, and how to better develop and manage your small business for success.

Through this course we will discuss the following:

  • Pre-planning, feasibility, motivation and your vision.
  • We teach conception to operation.
  • We will outline the concrete steps needed to successfully register and operate and manage your small business.
  • We discuss topics important to small business from A to Z including, business structure, registration, requirements, licensing, bonds and insurance, marketing, books, HR, financial reports, keeping records, credit, planning, management, and how to get funding.

This course consists of 4 one hour live zoom classes with 3 video classes in between plus 4 advising sessions to help you plan and tailor the concepts, information, and material to your business.
