Notice of Public Hearing on Wastewater System Development Charges: December 7, 2026

Notice:

The City Council will hold a public hearing on proposed revisions to the City's wastewater system development charges.  The hearing will take place on December 7, 2026.    

System development charges (SDCs) are paid by new development, and provide funding to construct wastewater improvements necessary to accommodate growth within the City.  Per state statute, SDCs can only be used to construct the growth related improvements identified in adopted methodology reports.

The proposed amended methodology supporting the modified system development charges will be available for review by October 8, 2026 (which is at least 60 days prior to the hearing date).
