NEW! Teen Book Club! We'll start meeting on Saturday, September 24, 12-1pm, in the Sandy Library Community Room. Our first Teen Book Club book is Taking Aim by Michael Cart. Teens may request a copy by filling out the Teen Book Club Book Reservation Form. Copies of the book will be made available in August. Teens may suggest future reads by filling out a Teen Book Club Suggestion Form.
NEW! Game Factory - Coding Club! Starting Monday, September 12, we will meet Mondays, (no meeting on the third Monday of the month). Learn how to code & play games! All skill levels welcome. You can either use one of our laptops or bring Your Own Device (BYOD). If possible, please bring a device as our supply is limited. Teens aged 12-17 welcome.
NEW at Hoodland! 3rd Saturday of the month - Kids' Art Club. 1-3p, in the Hoodland Library Community Room.
The Library Advisory Board has two open seats for the Sandy service area! Come to our September 21st meeting from 6:00 - 7:30 pm to see what we do, then apply here to join us.
The Sandy/Hoodland Library Advisory Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Community Room of the Sandy or Hoodland Library. Join us to give your input! Upcoming meeting locations:

What does the Library Advisory Board do?
- Advise and support the Library Director and staff.
- Be informed about the library's mission, services, policies, and programs.
- Serve on committees or task forces and offer to take on special assignments.
- Inform others about the library.
- Keep up-to-date on developments in the library field.
- Review the library's annual financial statements, and advise on its fiduciary responsibilities.
