The Sandy and Hoodland Libraries are launching a Strategic Planning Process. Look for more news in October for how you can get involved!
Hour of Code! The Sandy Library will host drop-in lab hours the week of December 5th - 11th from 2-4 pm. There will be laptops setup for student use in the teen area. You can use our laptops or bring your own! You do not have to finish your "Hour of Code" in one sitting. The website provides 1-hour of code for all ages and all skill levels. Let us know when you have completed your hour, and we will get you a certificate of completion at the information desk.
Volunteers Needed! English classes return after a winter break on January 10th. Volunteers are needed to teach and assist once a week or less; no experience necessary. No language other than English needed. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 - 1:30. Contact Katie for more information: 503-783-2583 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
NEW! Teen Book Club! Meeting the 4th Saturday of each month from 12-1pm. Teens may request a copy by filling out the Teen Book Club Book Reservation Form. Copies of the book will be made available the month before the meeting. Teens may suggest future reads by filling out a Teen Book Club Suggestion Form.
