Hours of Service:  

  Monday - Friday Saturday Sunday & Holiday
 SAM - Gresham Service 5:30 AM - 8:55 PM  5:30 AM - 10:25 PM 7:00 AM - 9:55 PM 
 SAM - Estacada Service 7:00 AM - 5:57 PM 7:00 AM - 5:57 PM no service
 STAR - Dial a Ride 5:30 AM - 9:00 PM 10:15 AM - 4:30 PM no service

SAM Gresham Fixed Route:

  • Operates every half hour Monday - Friday; hourly on Saturdays; 8 runs on Sunday (check schedule here)

  • SAM does not operate on Thanksgiving or Christmas Days.  All other holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve) operate on the Sunday schedule.

  • ADA service available all hours of SAM Gresham Fixed Route bus - call (503) 668-3466 to schedule.

SAM Estacada Route:  Operates 4 runs Monday through Saturday (check schedule here)

SAM Shopper:  Operates 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday (check route here) Shuttle Stops and Times

STAR Dial-A-RideAnyone can ride - call (503) 668-3466 for reservation.

Transit news:

  • Sandy Transit Fixed/Deviated Routes in-town are FARELESS!  If you are in-town and a bus goes by, get on, it is free!  STAR, dial-a-ride is $1.00 for destination-to-destination service, this is a reservation only service.
  • Sandy Transit has an advisory committee, the Transit Advisory Committee (TAC).  This committee meets four times a year on the third Wednesday in March, June, September and December.  TAC meetings begin at 5:30 pm at the Sandy Operations Center (16610 Champion Way) and are open to the public.  Meetings have an agenda and welcome public comment.  For more information on TAC and meeting minutes, click here.
