Everyone (age 8 and up) is invited to share a poem, or just come to watch and support our local poets.
A Poetry Slam is a performance poetry contest. It is an opportunity for people to share their original poetry with a wider audience. Poets will compete in age categories from grade school through adult. Our SLAM is a multi-age event, topics and language must be appropriate for all ages; other than that limitation, any type of original poem is welcome.
