Call for Artists - Plant a Seed, Read
We invite artists from Clackamas County to explore the idea of the phrase "Plant a Seed, Read" through their artistic lens. Based on the Summer Reading theme for 2026, "Plant a Seed, Read" is rooted in the concept of nourishing our lives. Food nourishes our bodies, libraries nourish our brains, and art nourishes our souls. Food and their stories have a way of connecting us to the earth, our families, and culture.
This call is open to artists of all backgrounds and levels, from emerging talents to established professionals. Artworks can be created in any medium, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, photography, mixed media, and more. Artists should be within the service area of the Sandy Public Library, and be a Clackamas County Resident.
