The City of Sandy appreciates that many members of our community may experience financial or other hardships during the COVID-19 epidemic. This page will be updated with resources available to those in need during this difficult time.

Remember, the City is providing Sandy Area Metro rides free of charge, and the Meals on Wheels program is still operating during the virus-related closures.

Guidance for Claiming Benefits

Clackamas Workforce Partnership is offering webinars every Monday and Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with instructions on how to navigate the benefits system and connect people with the resources they need.

Any OTSD student may obtain a Grab and Go sack breakfast and sack lunch. Meals may be picked up at Naas, Sandy High, and Welches Schools:

Additionally, we will deliver sack breakfast and lunch, by bus, to five locations. Students living at the locations may meet the bus at the entrance to:

Emergency Childcare for Essential Workers

First responders, emergency workers, health care professionals, critical operations staff and essential personnel, and others may be able to secure emergency child care facilitated though the Oregon Department of Education.
