New City Council Meeting Public Comment Process

The City Council places high value on receiving input from residents, and sets aside time at each regular meeting for members of the public to comment for up to three minutes on a topic of their choice.

 

In an effort to make this system more organized, the July 6th meeting will begin a new process for people to sign up ahead of time to offer comments.  It takes just a moment to fill out the form, and it will help ensure that everything proceeds smoothly.  See the information below:

 

If you attend the meeting in-person

Please submit your comment signup form to the City Recorder before the regular meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  Forms will be available on the table next to the Council Chambers door.

 

If you attend the meeting via Zoom

Please complete the comment signup webform by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

 

The Mayor will call on each person when it is their turn to speak for up to three minutes.
