The Summer Edition of our Makerspace will be collaborative project based! We will be making a laser-engraved, highly detailed historical map of Sandy throughout the summer. Our project-based approach this summer ensures participants can come to as many sessions as they want, without missing out on any project because of a vacation!
Sealed bids for 2025 STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECT will be received by the City of Sandy until 2:00 P.M on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at which time bidding will be closed. Bids and disclosure forms shall be submitted to Mr. AJ Thorne, Public Works Director at the Sandy City Hall, 39250 Pioneer Blvd, Sandy, OR 97055.
The Summer Sounds and Starlight Cinema is Sandy's annual "Concerts and Movies in the Park" event. All concerts and movies are free events that take place at Meinig Park. Concerts will start at 6:00pm and end at 8:00pm. Movies will start at "Dusk". For all of our Concerts there will be food and drinks available for purchase.
Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with developmental disabilities on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 10:00 AM.
Art Lab, on the 2nd Monday, will offer several arts and crafts stations with a variety of materials to accommodate different interests and abilities.
Maker Lab, on the 4th Monday, will offer puzzles, games, LEGOs and other building and problem solving materials.
