Edible Gardening Group

Share the highs and lows of edible gardening with your neighbors as we swap tips, timelines, strategies and resources. This group is open to all - whether you are just starting out or gardening year 'round. Together we'll go from seed to maximizing the bounty of the harvest. 

July's Topic: Plants as medicine ~ Teresa Barber will lead a discussion about how to turn the things in your garden into healing balms, salves and tinctures.

Hoodland Book Club

Cedar Park (Basecamp) Shelter

The Cedar Park (Basecamp) Shelter will be available to rent starting July 1, 2025.

The Shelter is available Monday-Friday and comes with 3 picnic tables and a trash can.  Two public restrooms are available for use located on the backside of the Shelter.

Block 1: 11:00am-2:00pm

Block 2: 2:30pm-5:30pm

The fee for the rental is $170. 

There is a resident discount for $150. 

There is a one time, non-refundable, administrative fee of $25 per reservation.

Notice of Rate Changes Beginning in August 2025

On June 16, 2025, Sandy City Council adopted the FY 2025 Master Fee Schedule, which includes the following rate changes for SandyNet residential and business level services inside Sandy city limits. This rate increase will only change the 500Mbps Up/Down and 1000Mbps Up/Down fiber optic services within Sandy city limits.
