History Talk: A Day in the Life of a Fire Lookout

Join wildfire prevention specialist Michelle Richardson to learn about our local fire tower history. 

With more than 19 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Forest Service, including nine seasons as a Fire Lookout, Michelle brings a wealth of firsthand knowledge and stories to share. Currently a Wildfire Mitigation Specialist at Ant Farm Youth Services, she possesses a unique perspective on the historical and modern significance of this vital role.
