Free Workshops for Restaurant and Bar Employees and Owners

During the Tourism Stakeholder Engagement Sessions this past spring, Travel Oregon (Oregon's tourism agency) heard that technical assistance and workforce training opportunities were some of the top tourism-related priorities needed in helping assist Oregon communities in rebuilding the economy.  To support this need, Travel Oregon has partnered with the Independent Restaurant Alliance of Oregon (IRAO) to help make education on topics ranging from diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace to financial fundamentals for both restaurant and bar employees and employers affordable and accessible.  An IRAO workshop series focusing on these topics kicked off in July and runs through October.
