COVID-19 Update for Public Transit
Riders must wear face coverings when riding Transit per the latest guidance from Governor Kate Brown. If you do not have a face mask, please ask your driver. We will be limiting the number of passengers on buses due to social distancing measures. Once buses have reached their capacity they will not be making stops. While social distancing is in place we will not be allowing any bicycles on the inside of our vehicles. The Oregon Health Authority is recommending "social distancing", maintaining three feet of distance between yourself and other people to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. While many people are working remotely, others still rely on public transportation to and from work. We do ask that you remain respectful to and of other people utilizing our service by minimizing close contact.
For the latest updates and resources check the City's website https://www.ci.sandy.or.us/COVID-19Information.
Protest Protocol: To ensure the safety of riders and protesters, SAM and MHX may detour buses. We will announce changes as soon as we become aware of the need to detour. Please note, some protests do not provide advance notice. To avoid a travel delay check the DoubleMap app, this website and announcements on the bus and/or shelters before traveling. Contact Dispatch at 503-668-3466 if you have questions.
