New hours and days of service on the SAM-Gresham route. Saturday morning the route will begin at 5:30 a.m. from the Sandy Transit Center with hourly departures. The last departure to Gresham leaves at 9:30 p.m. The final arrival from Gresham at the Sandy Transit Center is 10:25 p.m.
SAM now operates 8 runs on Sundays to connect with the expanded Mt Hood Express service to Timberline Lodge. SAM's new Sunday hours of service are 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. See Sunday schedule. In addition, SAM-Gresham (ONLY) will operate on the Sunday schedule on four holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
There will be NO SERVICE on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
In addition to the above weekend schedule, SAM-Gresham will operate half-hourly service on weekdays between 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. to connect riders to the TriMet system. For MAX and other TriMet information, see the TriMet web site.
SAM-Estacada operates five runs per day on weekdays only and connects riders to the TriMet system in Estacada. See Schedule.
STAR Demand-Response ("dial-a-ride") service operates from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm Monday-Friday and from 10:15 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays. STAR is available to the general public and provides ADA complimentary paratransit rides to ADA eligible individuals. ADA eligible rides are available during all service hours. SAM bus service connects riders to the Mount Hood Express services at the Sandy Transit Center which has expanded to Timberline Lodge. More information regarding the Mount Hood Express Services (MHX) can be found at the Clackamas County web site.

Sandy Transit has an advisory committee, the Transit Advisory Committee (TAC). This committee meets quarterly March, June, September and December on the third Wednesday. These meetings begin at 5:30 pm at the Sandy Operations Center 16610 Champion Way. All TAC meetings are open to the public. Meetings have an agenda and welcome public comment.
