In addition to the Wy’east artwork, there will be several 4x10 foot paintings on display from Firwood Elementary, a part of the Biome Art Project arranged by a local artist, Becky Hawley.

This Month's Coffee House Cary and Kelsey Samsel, who front the band Samsel And The Skirt. They will be performing as a duo, sharingstories of hope, heartbreak, love and disconnect with energy and emotion.  Churched on Soul, Rock and Blues, the band’s catchy lyrics are complimented with thoughtful musicianship. Cary’s blues background is evident in his singing but well complemented by Kelsey’s smooth, heart-wrenching vocals.

The event is free and family friendly, and all library services will be open until 8:00pm. The Sandy Public Library is located at 38980 Proctor Blvd. For more information call 503-668-5537.
